GG‑school has an important update: the founder of the school, Mr. Dmitry Gurtskoy, on the occasion of the 15th anniversary of the school, has decided to renew the leadership and has appointed Mr. Murtaz Sitchinava as Director of LLC “Private school named after Alexander Gurtskoy – GG”. Ms. Nino Chichinadze, who for many years has been actively involved in the academic management of the school, will continue in the position of Deputy Director for Academic Affairs, acting, until the new Director approves an updated staffing structure. New Director – Murtaz Sitchinava Murtaz Sitchinava is a lawyer with many years of experience in senior positions in both the public and private sectors. He has served as Head of the Procurement Department at JSC Georgian State Electrosystem, headed public procurement units at the Emergency Management Service, worked as Deputy Director of the Economic Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and held management roles within the Ministry of Education and Science’s infrastructure agency, theatres, colleges and other state institutions. Thanks to this background, the new Director is highly familiar with public procurement practice, administrative management and cooperation with the education sector, which is especially important for JJG‑school – both for maintaining high educational quality and for transparent, sustainable financial management.[legalconsulting] Education and Leadership Profile By profession, Murtaz Sitchinava is a lawyer (with a qualification equivalent to a Master’s degree). He successfully completed the full Top Management programme at the European Business School (ESB) and was a winner of the US SABIT programme competition announced by the US Department of Commerce, receiving a certificate from the US State Department.[legalconsulting] His professional path includes participation in international tender committees within World Bank and other donor‑funded projects, as well as work in the legal and non‑governmental sector, including membership in the state commission responsible for drafting the Law of Georgia “On Charity”.
